OUR NEWS
2009 National Reining Show
We attended the Futurity Show and Continental Championships in Tamworth in August 09 and the show went very well. I stepped down as President and am looking forward to some serious horse showing next year with less political distractions. I placed 3rd in the Limited Non Pro on Bob.

Susan an NRHA International Judge
Just to add to the recently obtained Continental Judges ticket, Susan attended the NRHA Convention in Oklahoma USA in January. Susan attended the 3 day NRHA Judges School and passed the testing to be qualified to judge worldwide.

Susan an NRHA Continental Judge
Susan recently secured her NRHA Continental Judges ticket enabling her to judge all Reining shows in Australia. This was an eagerly awaited result and adds to her show experience and her other judging qualification as an HSAA (Horse Show Association of Aust.) Judge. On the Move
We have relocated to our new property at Tenthill just 7 km from Gatton. We are thrilled to be setting up on our new horse property that was a great Stockhorse Stud in the past and so comes complete with a 7 acre lucerne paddock, arena and sheds to die for. We will be keeping the name Murrawah and have now settled all of our horses for the fast approaching foaling season.
Our New Yearling Ruf Roy
We are very excited about our new colt, Ruf Roy, by Ruf Major out of a Playboy Roy mare, Chex Me Out. View Pedigree here:

Scott & Kate Glover gave us the opportunity to purchase this great natured colt and Susan is looking forward to riding him in his Non Pro Futurity year, and cant wait to start him under saddle this year. We think he looks a lot like Major himself.

Qld State Title
Bob & Susan won 2 Buckles this year, the first exciting win was at the Qld State Show winning the Novice Horse Non Pro in a class of 23 competitors. This was an exciting win being Susan's 2nd State Title but the first in her home state. The second big win was taking out the Open No Pro Title at the Pacific Coast Reining Championships held annually at Gatton. This was a real thrill with Susan's highest score ever running a 71 under judge Martin Larcombe. It was also Susans first Open Non Pro win. 2008 was rounded out by a great NSW State Show with a 2nd in the Non Pro Derby, scoring a credible 71.5 which was very exciting in front of a great crowd. At the Nationals we were very consistent with the best placing being a third in the Novice Horse Non Pro.

NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma
Whist in Oklahoma, Susan as President of Reining Australia attended meetings at the NRHA Head office where all of the famous oil paintings of Million Dollar Sires and Riders adorn the walls.

Wedding in Las Vegas
Robert and Susan were married in Las Vegas on 12th November 2007. Elvis walked Susan down the aisle. Susan & Rob Camfferman then embarked on a 3 week trip accross the USA, taking in the Mid West and frontier states of Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.
In Oklahoma Susan & Rob attended the NRHA Reining Futurity and were fortunate enough to see Shawn Flarida take out the title on an awesome Wimpys Lil Step Mare.

Susan Wins her 1st Buckle
At the recent Fraser Coast Reining Spectacular at Maryborough, Fiona gave Susan a great ride to take her to win her first Buckle in the Southern Cross Reining Series. Top points from 3 shows were accumulative to win the buckle in the Novice Horse Non-Pro Event. After a 2nd in the Novice Horse Non- Pro, Fiona then took Scott to a 2nd in the Intermediate Open. It was a great Show with Gypsy also coming 2nd in the Open Futurity.
