![]() Dixie Morn "Dixie" well what can I say about my favourite girl. Dixie was bred at Murrawah after purchasing her in foal mother at Rockhampton QH Sale. Dixie is by Spectacular Morn by the great Morn Deck and we think she is just like her Grandad.Well what a delight to have such a filly born. Dixie is a Taffy filly with plently of Chrome and was the winner of Qld State Champion weanling filly class out of 18. She has had many wins and Champions and has rarely ever placed below 3rd in numerous futurities. Dixie is also a Reserve National Halter Champion. Dixie has been in training with Kyle Mobberly for Hunter & Western and finalled in the Hunter class at 2006 Nationals. She also had 8 months training with Don & Cherise McLaughlin and competed in limited performance classes successfully in 2007. Dixie has been retired to stud and had a filly foal to Winderadeens HF Something Hot in 2008. Has been rebred to Temonee for a 2009 foal.
Diamond K Hickory Chex; Bay mare by Bar Doc Hickory out of a Murrumbo Pay Chex mare. We are thrilled to have purchased an own daughter of Bar Doc Hickory as we believe they have the coolest minds and make excellent reiners. Hickey; has already shown huge potential to make a great Reiner after just 2 months in training. Hickey was trained as a cutter for her futurity year by Sylvia Fistsch under the guidance of Robert Baldwin, taking her to an impressive finish in the NCHA Snafflebit Futurity Show at Tamworth, finishing in the top 3rd of the entires, over 150 horses, proving she has talent and the trainable mind for any discipline. We purchased Hickey at Rockhampton Quarter Horse Sale. Had a Ruf Major (IMP) filly in 2006, Ruf n Rich currently showing great talent in reining events. Oklahoma Twister by Proud to be an Okie, 3 year old filly, was purchased off Scott Hartwig the breeder and owner of Proud to be an Okie at Theodore Qld. Scott is an old college friend and we were lucky enough to secure this taqlented filly which has a full sister that is competing successfully in Cutting. Okie has been trained by Don McLaughlin and she has very flashy turnaround and will be a big stopper with more time. We have bred Okie to Lil Yella Jacit for a 2009 foal.

( AQHA Name: Kalewa Annie) by Smoked Hickory by Bar Doc Hickory. Fiona commences her 2nd Derby year this year after a great Futurity year. Primarily Susan''s Non Pro Horse, in 2005 Fiona had a win in the Open event at the Fraser Coast Reining Spectacular with Scott aboard and took Susan to a win in the Beginner Reining at the NSWRHA State Show. She also had a great run at Equitana. In 2006 Fiona won the Pacific Coast Intermediate Open and had various wins and placings.We just love Fiona and feel very honoured to own such a great mare. Fiona is in foal to Playboy Roy for a 2009 foal and we cant wait to see the result. |
